The Conques basilica is a unique site that, despite centuries of remodelling, allows us to imagine what a medieval sacred space might have looked like. Based on the data collected, it is thus possible to reconstruct the multisensory experience that an encounter with this famous pilgrimage site in Southern France might have represented for women and men of the past.
The lecture was part of the Czech European Researchers' Night 2022.
